Saturday, 5/4/24 - Spring plant sale order pickup at Washburn parking lot (along 50th St)

Monday, 5/6/24 - 5:30-6:30PM. - Parent Council Administration meeting; year in review, financials, committee recruitment for 2024-2025 academic year.

Tuesday, 5/7/24 - 7:30AM. - Breakfast and coffee for teacher/staff appreciation week.

Wednesday, 5/29/24 - Refreshments provided for Senior Awards night

Friday, 6/7/24 - Washburn Senior Overnight Party

Monday, 11/6/23 - 5:30-6:30PM. Parent Council meeting. Speaker: Anne Kealing with Mothers Demand Action/Presentation - Gun Safety Resources. (Room 106A, just inside the Door 10 entrance on 50th)

Saturday, 11/11/23 - 9:30AM-9:00PM - Shopping Fundraiser. Mention Washburn High School when shopping at Patina (at the corner of 50th and Bryant Ave S) and Parent Council will receive 20% of all sales. Thanks Patina for supporting Washburn Millers!

Monday, 1/8/24 - 5:30-6:30PM. Parent Council meeting ONLINE via Zoom. Overview of Work Based Learning program and Middle Years Programme (MYP) integration with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Washburn

Thursday, 1/11/24 - 4:00-8:00PM. 2024 Senior Party Fundraiser!  Visit nearby Noodles and Company at 6501 York Avenue. Mention "Washburn Senior Party" with your order and 25% of sales will be donated to the Senior party fund.

Monday, 2/5/24 - 5:30-6:30PM. Parent Council meeting. Discussion with Dr. Palmer and WHS staff - parent involvement at the high school level. What’s the right amount of involvement for parents of students at this age? How can loving parents give our kids more independence without being too permissive? What’s the line between “supportive” and becoming a “helicopter parent”?

February - 3/25/24 - Spring Plant Sale Fundraiser. Peruse the order page, purchase beautiful varieties of plants, and support Parent Council and the Senior Party, Wagner’s will deliver to Washburn on May 4, 2024.

Saturday, 4/20/24 - 11:00AM-3:00PM. 2024 Senior Party Fundraiser!  Visit Mr. Paul’s Po Boys and Jams at 3917 Market Street in Edina (courtyard entrance). Buy a quart of homemade Tomato-Basil Soup for $15 and 100% of the sale will be donated to the Senior party fund. A big thanks to Carrie and Tommy Begnaud, Washburn parents and owners of Mr. Paul’s Supper Club.
